First Haircut

With fingers crossed and our breath held, we took her to get a badly needed haircut.  We were nervous because Lauren does not even sit still for us to brush her hair.  In fact she would say, "all done, all done!" as soon the brush or comb hit her hair.  But Shelley did her magic and Lauren went willingly and sat in the chair by herself.  Or course a cookie and the iPhone helped.

Hopefully this was not beginner's luck and she will always sit still for her haircuts.  Shelley saved a few locks of her hair since it was her "China hair".  

RGL Vacation

We had reservations at the RGL Hotel (aka Ruben, Gianna, and Luke's house) so we took advantage and stayed there while they were in Napa for a wedding.  We had a great time on our short little vacation.

We went to the Orange County Zoo, a small zoo at Irvine Regional Park and got to pet the goats. 

Of course there was more swimming.

Sitting by the water fountain and falling into the water fountain.  Yep, fell in completely and was completely drenched.  She said, "Oh No!" when Dan fished her out of the water.  But thank goodness nothing happened to her "lolli" and all was good.  

We returned later for the outdoor concert.  Lauren's first and she loved it!  She went straight to the front and started dancing.  Everytime a song ended she would clap and say "Yea!" and then yelled "more!".  She definitely loves her rock and roll!

She loves the water and is fearless!  We so need swimming lessons soon!
