Eight months home now! We are loving her emerging speech. She is beginning to mimic and repeat words as we speak. Translation = we need to watch what is said in front of her. Music continues to be her love and we often see her little foot tapping along. She has learned to sit still long enough for nursery rhymes videos on the laptop. We are amazed at the number of songs she knows the melodies to. As she is quite demanding, we have to sit close to her and be prepared to change songs as she appears to prefer certain ones, over and over, and over and over again. And again.
We celebrated eight moths home by taking her to the local Starbucks. There is a fountain outside and it kept Lauren amused and entertained for two hours. Of course, this means that one of us must be close-by as we did not want her inside the fountain!
And the best part of eight months home?
She now says, "Cheese" when the camera comes out!
